By purchasing a ticket, volunteering at or attending a Perth Pals event, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to the following terms:

1. Company Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

Perth Pals Pty Ltd (ABN 87 688 035 681) is a registered company that organises social events and activities for women in Perth. By attending any Perth Pals event, you acknowledge and agree that:

• You are participating voluntarily and at your own risk.

• Perth Pals Pty Ltd, its directors, organisers, employees, volunteers, contractors, and affiliates are not liable for any personal injury, illness, loss, theft, damage, accident, delay, or inconvenience sustained before, during, or after any event.

• You release, indemnify, and hold harmless Perth Pals Pty Ltd and its representatives from any and all claims, demands, damages, costs, liabilities, or actions arising out of or in connection with your participation, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

2. Events Involving Alcohol

• You must be 18 years or older to attend events where alcohol is served or consumed.

• By attending, you agree to drink responsibly and comply with the venue’s policies and all relevant Australian liquor laws.

• You are solely responsible for your alcohol consumption and behaviour at all times. Perth Pals is not liable for any incidents, injuries, or consequences resulting from alcohol consumption during or after the event.

3. Refunds & Ticket Policy

• Refunds are available up to 7 days prior to the event.

• After that, tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.

• If you're unable to attend, we encourage you to contact us early — while we can't guarantee a refund, we may be able to assist on a case-by-case basis.

• This policy is in addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law, including your right to a refund if an event is cancelled or significantly changed.

• Perth Pals is not responsible for any incidental expenses incurred (e.g. travel, accommodation) due to cancellation or changes.

4. Photography & Media Consent

• By attending, you consent to Perth Pals taking photographs and/or videos during the event, which may be used for promotional purposes including on social media, our website, and future marketing materials.

• If you do not wish to appear in photos or videos, please inform the organiser before or during the event. While we’ll do our best to respect your wishes, we can’t guarantee exclusion from all candid or group shots.

• You waive any rights to royalties or compensation related to the use of such media.

5. Code of Conduct

• Perth Pals is committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and respectful community.

• Discrimination, harassment, or inappropriate behaviour of any kind will not be tolerated.

• Perth Pals reserves the right to remove any attendee, without refund, if their behaviour is disruptive, unsafe, or in breach of this code.

• If you experience or witness inappropriate conduct, please speak with an event organiser or contact us at hello@perthpals.com.

6. Event Changes & Cancellations

• If we need to cancel or postpone an event due to unforeseen circumstances, you will be offered a full refund.

• We will do our best to notify attendees of any changes as early as possible.

• We are not responsible for any additional expenses you may incur due to such changes.

7. Communication Consent

• By registering or purchasing a ticket, you agree to receive emails related to your event booking — including confirmations, reminders, updates, and a request for feedback after the event.

• We will not use your contact information to promote future events unless you explicitly opt in to receive marketing emails. You can unsubscribe from any communications at any time.
